THIS IS SUCH A FRUSTRATING BOOK

I really don't like the protagonist, at all, but I can't stop reading because I want to know how this will end.

This book is a weird read, both rushed and stagnant, a lot of exposition and none at all. The protagonist also seems a bit Mary Sue-ish and I'm not sure what to think of it. Doesn't have the feel that this is the first part of a trilogy at all.

SUCH FEELS.

Surprisingly dull at this point, too much politics and the plot doesn't seem to advance at all. Appears to suffer from the same malady as Jordan and Martin, too many pov characters.

This book has now kept me awake way past my bedtime.
