Zoey and Eliot wakes up to the soundof tapping on the tent, they find out that it was a raven. Patrick leaves to Dillingham. Eliot gets sick and Thomas is taking them to Naknek to go to the clinic because Eliot's breathing is getting bad and they're afraid he might get worse.

Sadie and Carter tries to find Ra and awaken him and find out that they are being followed by Menshikov. They go to the nurses station and Bes tries to hide from the person who is working, Tawaret. The one who saved Bes three centuries ago. They go to find Ra in the many halls.

Zoey and Eliot try to go find wood for the camp. While walking along they find an old wooden boat, their mom then comes to check on them and after seeing the boat that they've found her mom and Eliot go get Patrick. Her dog and a otter get into a fight, and Zoey ends it by throwing sand at both of them.

Zoey, her younger brother Eliot, her mom and her mom's boyfriend Patrick are on their way to Bristol Bay from Anchorage. Zoey did ot want to go on this trip since they just moved to Anchorage and they're already leaving. Also because she misses her dad. Her parents are divorced and she wants to be with her dad, she haven't seen him since they left Colorado.
