I'm 4 chapters in and I think this is not only claiming new favourite status but also best book of the year. More people need to read this book!

I have only read the first chapter, but I can already tell that this is going to be a 5 star read. I've already highlighted so many things.

Rereading the series as I listen to a LotR Podcast. Each episode discusses about 10 pages. This is another slow goal that I am hoping to finish by the end of 2024.

A collection of landscape words used in the UK. I've been wanting to read this since I bought it years ago, but I have put it off because it would take time to read and previously my goal was all about quantity of books read. 2024 is about taking it slow so I will be dipping in and out of this over the year.

This book has sat on my shelf for close to 15 years. It's such a brick that I've procrastinated reading it. I finally picked it up and am immediately creeped out by this relationship they have. I'm having a hard time understanding why this has been sold as such a great romance.

So far I do find the time travel interesting, though.

Calla is 26 years old but she acts like she's 19 and I keep finding it takes me out of the story. I really like the premise of this one so far though.

Why is Anne American? I understand that this is a contemporary retelling but that's like taking away her red hair or the "E" from her name.
