I and two other men in my weekly Bible study have been reading this for well over a year and I cannot imagine us having gone any faster. We should finish by summer - after which I will post a more detailed review.

I am pausing my reading of this book - I'm bored with it. Alas.

Loved it! A fast, entertaining read that every geek and closet mercenary will enjoy!

I am disappointed. I recall reading this book as a young adult and LOVING it. Now, I am quitting mid-way through because it just isn't keeping me interested. The characters are cardboard; the story plodding; the alien alternate universe feels kludged...
