But I read the introduction, too. Not the lightest read so far, but I was reading Harari's Sapiens at the same time and now can focus on The Great Work.

I'm working my way through this book, exercise by exercise, and learning how to match courage with action. Most helpful!

Surprisingly good reading! I'm intrigued. A bit confusing as to what the clan names were, but Smith explained that later.

The writing reminds me of Thomas Hardy--in a good way. Lots of description and yet few details. I am tempted to say it is literary Impressionism. Had to send it back to the library, unfinished.
