This definitely didn’t feel as action packed as the other books but the tension has still been phenomenal in my opinion. I’m having a really hard time putting this one down so I can finish my book club book kiss of the basilisk🤣

Okay tbh I think I’m starting to lose interest. Instead of world building a lot of this feels like world dumping and it’s really hard to keep track of everything in an audiobook. I would be peeking at the legend over and over again if I had a physical copy. Also it feels like barely anything has happened and I’ve listened to 10 hours of this already. Maybe it’d be different if I had read manacled🤔🤔

Tbh Tem irritates the living shit out of me and I think she’s a hypocrite. Thank goodness they’re fucking hella in this book otherwise my eye balls seriously wouldn’t be able to stand the torture I’m putting them through.

Honestly I see why some parts of this is boring to people but I’m so invested that I still have a hard time putting it down. Unfortunately I had to so I could read my book club book but as soon as it’s done I’ll finish devouring this

Honestly already dunno if I wanna continue this series or not after book 1, simply because of the love triangle. Yet at the same time the fantasy aspect is really intriguing so maybe it’ll carry me through🙃🙃

I’m gonna be so real with you guys. If this book wasn’t what my book club chose, I don’t think I would’ve kept reading after it started to get a little weird lol the spice has been great tho so it’s carrying me through
