Wow. Just done with another major battle (every battle is a major battle that just builds up to an even more major one) whew
I read the chapter titles and I know I'm in for a it of heartache. Therefore, I'm taking another break to give my heart and sanity a rest. This book cannot be taken in all at once. It has to be digested piece by piece

Enjoying this transmigration story a lot so far. Only pet peeve is the question of whether the 'supporting FL' actually enjoys having sex with the ML or nah.
Either way, sex should not leave one continually incapacitated for up to 3 days at a time! The first time is allowed, but afterwards, it's just sadism

Enjoying the hell out of this story so far. Gotta say, except do a few minor details, the adaptation from book to donghua is pretty much scene for scene spot on

This is making for some fantastic reading....That being said, I'm continually grossed out by the authors apparent obsession with the overly developed 12-13 year old female bodies. It makes for SUPER cringy reading as well. Uugh

I try to just skim over those parts as much as I can, but the author just insists a bit too much sometimes. Smh

Started reading this after watching a portion of the series. Surprisingly fantastic show.

Tho the characters are s'posed to be SUPER young, I cld mostly look past it as they were depicted physically as teens on the show. However, this author insists on mentioning their ages right after sexualizing them, and it's getting on my nerves.

Since being introduced to MDZS/GDC, I honestly haven't been able to move on. I have spent the last few weeks completely engrossed: reading a bunch of ff's, re-watching series (live action and donghua) also reading the manhua. Sigh...the struggle is real. I am slowly weaning myself off it tho. I've gotten into a few BL series (didn't realize there were so many out there). Might read some fluff to get back into reading

OMG OMG OMG. I just inhaled The Untamed on Netflix, then thoroughly gobbled up Mo Dao Zu Shi. Next step is of course The Book. Wei Wuxian and Lan Zhan are relationship goals I didn't even know to have.

Uugghh, I forgot how annoying Lift was. No one, 13 or no, is that ridiculous, especially given how much growing up she had to do because of the way of the world and her life. It is a nice bit of levity away from the main story though. Poor Kal ☹

Reading this a second time is turning out better than I expected. I know what to pay attention to even more so than the 1st reading. I am in awe of Kal

Lizbeth's character seems to have changed a lot since the first book. I know she had a physical relationship with Eli before, but, why is she giving him ALL the information when she's getting none at all from him? Just doesn't seem like something she would have done before

The general feeling of this book reminded me of The Golden Compass/Northern Lights: precocious child, long journey, talking bears.

Ok read so far, but just too many POV's especially when the same story is being related. Now that some the charcaters are in different locations, perhaps the pov storytelling will get better

Clark confuses me. He spent the better part of a week worried about the guys breaking into the barn, yet he shys away from actual answers? Then at the party, the football team is all about solidarity and trust, yet they let the drunk guy get almost thrown into the fire? I don't get it. His friends should have made a move to save him way before Clarke did

I'm crying cause she's getting some clothes that are made for her. The things we take from granted when other ppl have to fight tooth and nail for that seemingly small sense of normalcy

So great so far. Taking a break before I cry some more. This part here is bugging me a bit (nothing really, just, ya know). She keeps on saying 50 feet is 100 steps, but its more like 50 feet is 25 steps. The rest of the story telling is fantastic though

Did Frank kill Mrs Churchill? Her death seems a trifle too well timed. Nobody ever believed that she was actually sick those other times, then she dies within 2 days of seeing Frank, just when Jane had made up her mind to move on to the Smallridge gig. Not to even mention that Mrs Churchill would have been dead set against the marriage. Fishy fishy. Is this ever discussed? I don't remember it from the movie or series

I'm at work l, sneaking in a few minutes of reading, about to ugly cry. Tears flowing as I try to dab them away, and coworker asking if I'm alright
