I think the theme of this story is that everything you do in life has its own consequences. Example: Alex starts off as a bully which leads him to be a thieve and now he's got life in prison and hes only 15. Now when he sees other kids getting bullied it makes him mad.

I'm surprised how the dad made a girl (Teresa) pass money back and fourth across the border. It got me mad because i cant believe a parent would put his child in that danger.

I like the fact how this book keeps everything the same. The intensity of book is just as crazy as it was in the begging. Just that now its more intense since Sanchez Just hung himself and the officers' are getting closer with the inmates because of that.

What would of happened if Martin would of beaten up the kid that went in behind him in the bathroom?
