Very nostalgic if you were growing up at the dawn of the web and experienced early internet culture and relevant in the age of AI and mass surveillance. I saw a reviewer state they didn’t like this book because of all the things that they thought “wouldn’t happen that way.” I feel sorry for people who can’t just suspend disbelief long enough to enjoy a good story.
