So far i have learned about Junior and how he faces his obstacles in his life. And not only is his life hard because if his disability, but because other people recognize as a geek or a nerd. But he still has spirit and will fight to reach his dream.

The whole place is a disaster. Now all tge soaves and Mater Jeffersons money is being sold. Maddy and his family will live on a new farm, so a new life.

Maddy now realozws what freedom taste likes. Though he's not actually free, he just going on a trip to hel Master Jeffereson from Monticello to Polar Forest. And even though he realizes the difference, he's glad he can help out and do something important that can help his family.

Maddy's is upset that when his siblings grow up to be 21, they'll be free and yet he will stay behind. He questions everything about his life, afraid of what the oversees mught do to him and his family is he takes a risk, but he won't because he knows better

There's a big surprise that the father did for the children. He said the boys can now start to learn how to play the piano

Its been 3 years sonce Master Jefferson's term has ended. The gather still won't do anything to help but little by little. Beverly grew up and now learned, he's like his mama

Now that Beverly sees his lofe clearly, he still doesn't understand. And the grown ups are not helping. They keep secrets and Beverly just wants to understand why are there slaves and why can't they live in peace.

Beverly got some good news about his mother. He's happy and yet mad, his father won't do anything to help them but should.

Beverly is still trying to understand the way his life is. His mother explains it many times and yest still.... none of it makes sense. He is owned by people and can be punished by them but there is one secret that everyone knows and yet no one wants to talk about it. But yet Beverly does know and is surprised to know Master Jefferson is related to him.

So far the book is great, so many advice to give to kids. One thing that is true is how hard students with outside of class. How some of the have difficulty balancing the after school activities and clubs.

So the next chapter is about adults. How different adults, teachers or parents have interest in students. How they decide to help us or give is advice.

Clay is new to town. Since he's going to a town that is deep in the south the scenery is going to change for him he has high hopes for himself.

Eva has gotten some terrible news. She has now found and realized the thrush of Elizabeth. She is shocked with the through and how it is nothing like her chronicle.

Bad news for Lukas and Eva, I had high hopes for them. Eva is going to be gone in 30 days and Lukas is leaving. This friendship is going to be torn apart.

"If you can't stand the world you live in and you can't change it, you've got to believe in magic, in predictions." This is my favorite quote so far because it describes what Clay believes. And this is a part of a speech.

So far Eva has survived the testing and made it. She got some startling news and is now to leave in 30 days. Although she discovered a necklace from Elizabeth, there is more to tell about her.

One quote I like was, "He believed that every fighter was unique and should be treated that way." I like this quote because he started to fight in the gym and when he's training he's believing in him. He's believing he can win.

Now that Eva has found a relic and it has 4 pouches in it, she finds these objects belong to an Elizabeth. She is now writing a chronicle describing Elizabeth's life from these objects. She now finds that her chronicle is popular back home and teaches the people a lesson.

Eva and the other testers are at the third, where they are supposed to dig out a artifact from the ice. This kind of reminds me of The Hunger Games but it's not the same. They do compete with each other to see who win Archon and they have to survive for 28 days. They have already lost 2 testers.

So far as the test has begun, the testers are fighting the brutal cold and weather. Eva has tried her best and I hope continue to do her best to survive. Now Jasper and Eva are at the 2nd point and now have to start building igloos for shelter.

Lukas gave Eva a journal, but not just any journal, her brother, Eamon's journal. He thought it would help her win and have faith. She hopes that this will help her with The Test so she can honor her brother.

Eva is preparing for The Test. She is making sure she has the support of everyone around her, but not really. At dawn she will leave to see if she will become the next Archon.

Theresa has been through so much already. She is moving from foster house to foster house, meeting new people and losing people she cares about. She's not sure if she can go through this again, but can she?

My favorite part so far is where Theresa has the courage to go to San Francisco. Of course she doesn't stay to long, the Catholic Charities find her and bring her back to New York. She did some unexpected things when she made it and has been through a lot.

So good news for Theresa plus bad news. Theresa is going to go live with a black family. But here's the thing, she is so tired of getting moved that she's is even considering running away.
