I can't remember the last time I hated a book so much, and yet, couldn't stop reading it. I hate you, Gone Girl. Now get over here.

It's picking up. After the initial exposition, the story is really taking off.

So excited to read this! And I'm almost finished with my library book, too, so the timing is perfect. =P

This book has a glaring error: twice it refers to Lord Darnley's mother as the sister of Henry VIII. The sister she is reffering to, Margaret, is actually his grandmother, and the grandmother of Mary, Queen of Scots. Her error would make Darnley, Mary's uncle instead of her cousin. TWICE she says this. Wonder what else is wrong??

Not as interesting as Henry VIII, The King and His Court. Possibly because so far all Weir talks about is Elizabeth's unwillingness to marry. Bo-ring.

This book is so incredibly dense. Enjoying it, though.
