The impact from hitting the ground split it clean in two, and Frank picked up both pieces, Silva's blood still imbedded within Voltaire's hair. "Bookends," he said happily to himself, and carefully placed the pieces in his pockets before lighting the pyre.

"We're gonna work on this guilt thing, Frank," I said, kicking my shoes off and putting my feet up on the dash. "You'll see. Soon you'll be doing all sorts of things without feeling any remorse. You might even have sex with a minor."

*facepalm* Arrows are not bullets. Come on, I do realize this is a comic book but... awful and atrocious misuse or archery is so painful to read. And I do love the story and the art so far... I love having an archer superhero. And I am trying really, really hard not to pick apart the archery. And I am failing terribly at it.

I am loving the storyline so far and the art but... haha, the quiver is on the wrong side! A right handed archer wears the quiver on the right side, the left side makes no sense (one would have to reach across one's body to grab an arrow with the bow in the way). I KNOW this is a comic book but... quiver... wrong side. :) But at least he is wearing an arm guard...

Obviously not looking for great lit here, just sexy sex and more sex... and from what I hear this is the book for such a mood.

Decisions... decisions... Fortune's Pawn or Blood Song next? Damn hard choice...

A really, really long but surprisingly easy read... it just flows nicely and quickly (despite its length).

Its been hard to get into this one... going slow even though it is an easy read. Honestly, I had expectations for this one... which sucks because expectations mean disappointment.

Third in the series, I am addicted. I was expecting romance, but what I got was a political thriller and war fantasy with lots of magic and "nightrunning" (spying) with an undercurrent of romance. Loving it!

Seriously, for a girl who doesn't cry she seems to be in tears all the time. I had expectations for this book and so far its got an interesting concept but its romance-y (which I didn't expect), very romance-y. Its not a bad book, if it continues like this it'll be a 3 stars for me, but I just don't get the hype.

Chugging along... still has so many issues but I just couldn't abandon completely an ancient greek tale.

The Nightingale and the Rose was so sad, it broke my heart. A reflection on the duality of love. Oh, how easy it is to carelessly tarnish and destroy that given out of love. A painful story for me to read.

Yes, a Christmas romance. I truly am a masochist who likes to torture myself until I fall asleep crying into my pillow. My love of Christmas has turned into a love/hate thing this year and I just need something good to happen, even if it is to fictional characters.

A bit ramble-y, the ending all in a neat package (it all works out waaay too quickly) but enjoyable romance.

Probably some of the craziest shit the man has ever written. I'm still trying to figure it all out...

3.5 stars - liked it but it wasn't the genius of Fuzzy Nation

One of my all time favorite fanfiction stories and a worthy re-read. I read it first before I knew what Sterek was or even watched an episode of Teen Wolf... now I can read it again with the knowledge of fandom, yay!

The MC is a middle aged man who makes sexist remarks (and has double standards for his daughter vs. his son) and then even managed fat shaming (those zombies looked like twins but not those sexy kind but overweight and gross) all within the first 3 chs. I dunno if the author thinks this way buts its the stereotypical I-am-man-with-guns-and-look-at-women-as-sex-objects-aside-from-my-wife-who-needs-protecting. Agh!
