Main character is still childish as she was in first book. Her fights with her sister are just stupid. I hate the mother and her speaking in third person all the time (referring to herself as ‘Mommy’ instead of I or me). No wonder main character acts like she’s 6 instead of 27.

Irritating writing style. No foretelling. Things suddenly happen or characters suddenly appear. Lore is suddenly spilled with no details or explanation. It keeps feeling like there was a prior hook or episode I missed. It’s annoying.
