I am not entirely sure how I feel towards Jared Diamond.

My initial suspicions that this would be an 'interesting' read are already proving true. As reported in a review on fanniesroom, Norah Vincent appears to be quite the gender essentialist. I am up to but page 6 and have already encountered this revealing sentence, "Gender identity, it seems, is in the genes as surely as sex and sexuality are, but we don't know why the programming deviates."

This is looking to be a very entertaining read. His tone can be very amusing at times.
