I though this book had editorial content by the author/publisher as well as the stories in their original text, but it only has author's report on them.
Also read pp 294-352 - talks about modern evolution and adaptations, which doesn't reveal original stories.
I avoided reading author's review of specific stories so it wouldn't spoil reading the original work by Conan Doyle when I get around to reading them.
