The typos…
I know they don’t bother some people, but I’m not one of them. Each one immediately takes me out of the story. At the very least, make sure there is consistency in your character’s names. Kaelan, Kealan, Kalean

Why is everybody mumbling everything? I’m over reading “Baby girl” already.
I want to like this book, I really do, but it desperately needed a proofreader and someone to smack the “baby girl” out of the text.
