Maybe not the best book for me to be reading right now. Sloane's dad just died and I am Very Aware that one year ago today was the last day we didn't know about my own dad's cancer diagnosis. And that we only had 11 weeks left.
"There would be a dad-shaped hole in every event from now on."
I have literally said those words.
