Jennifer is finished with Odd Interlude #1 (Odd Thomas, #4.1)
Wow I hadn't realized how much I missed Odd Thomas. Dean Koontz does such a great job of making you want to believe in this crazy story line. Odd is an amazing young man dealing with a bizzare situation...the humorous and word play are something I continually look forward to. Welcome back Odd.

this was a very engaging book about a very pivotal time in British history. So many stories entertains in so many interesting ways. I've always found Churchill interesting and this is fascinating back story to the man you always hear about.

a quick young adult read that was very satisfying as a pool book. I enjoyed the storyline and the characters very much. it feels like there is more to tell, so I would have preferred a longer book but I guess that just shows that it was enjoyable.

Jennifer is finished with The List (The Konrath Dark Thriller Collective #1)
I enjoyed this one immensely. characters I could care about and a plot I was willing to suspend disbelief for. I'd definitely read it again and enjoy it. it also raised a few interesting points to ponder in the nature vs. nurture debate and lead to some convoluted what if thinking. always a plus in my book.

Jennifer is finished with Tab Bennett and the Inbetween (Princess of Twilight and Dawn, #1)
not on the reread list. the story was mildly interesting, and I did finish it so it couldn't be all bad. The story line was pretty good, bit the love triangle (or maybe it was a square) was totally not necessary. Also the attempts at character development were pretty shallow...I think there was avoid syor

wow..well written book but about the most depressing thing I've ever read. definitely not uplifting, motivating, having any kind of positive. I have no idea what the author was shooting for,but he got bleak and depressing and I will not ever be reading this book again.

truly enjoyed this book. there was lots of intrigue, but not a lot of "random" characters or plot devices. it was very tightly written and I really found myself caring for the characters which is always the mark of a good book.
