The 2nd chapter made me cryyyyyy 😭🥺😞

Super quick and easy to read. I also wasn't sure at first but the first chapter ended up being lovely. Pleasantly surprised. I shoulda trusted my gut bc I figured I would like it but sometimes you start something and you're just like huhhhhh? Haha!

Idk guys. I literally started crying after reading that. I think I'm just tired of having to do everything and wishing that those with more authority etc could come to aid with how awful everything is. I know there is still a lot to be done, but the words were comforting.

I doubt that these are the parts I'm supposed to be tearing up at, but when Griffin spoke to Robin about losing his mother tongue and then the argument between Letty and Victoire. I got really emotional. The things Letty said were awful, and it's because she doesn't get it. That's just how it is tho, isn't it?

I'm on the chapter about deep sea mining and it has always made me annoyed and mad bc WHY ARE WE TRYING TO MINE THE DEEP. But this chapter is actually making me CRASH OUT FROM HOW IGNORANT PEOPLE ARE. "Just some sea cucumbers out there." " This hydrothermal vent is past its prime." LIKE WHAT ARE WE TALKING ABOUT??? PLEASE SHUT UPPPP?? /people should be furious about deep sea mining I'm LOSING IT

Dude, I shouldn't have started this in May bc I knew I had a lot of traveling etc until August. That aside, we're finally back on track and it's so good.

I was looking at my tabs and found it interesting that there have been less and less tabs on "the sea" and more and more tabs on "key" & "fate vs free will" (tho these are throughout), sword, doors, and maybe a little bit on crown (mostly for destiny, awaiting more leadership and sense of authority). I love seeing the way the story (at least how I am seeing it) is evolving.

Got to relive the story of when Fate fell in love with Time.

Going a bit slowly since I'm annotating (my first time annotating a fiction)! There's so much to re-experience. So much that I didn't think more deeply about when I first read it. Even though it's now my 2nd time reading it, it feels just as magical and mystifying as the first time I read it.

Teared up a couple of times. Learning about queer lives and experiences and how they relate it to horror is comforting to me

The first chapter was phenomenal. Second chapter started out very interesting and pretty great, but I think I got lost in the discussion and couldn't understand the depth of the deep dive into the Duchess of Malfi.

It was a really powerful read though. I feel like the language used is pretty sophisticated? I think that's the way to describe it. Some of it is hard for me to grasp the first time around, so I have to reread paragraphs at times. That's alright though! Reading is progressing and evolving my understanding!
