Good Lord.
This book is so heavy and full of trauma, and I am exhausted.
It is SO good, but based on what I'm hearing, I'm afraid to finish it, and I'm contemplating putting it off until the next book is released ... Whenever that is.
I'm thinking it over. In the meantime, I'm into some Elsie Silver.

I really do want to read this, and I'll continue it, but I'm 45 pages in and it is HEAVY.
Trigger warnings were absolutely necessary, and should be STRONGLY taken into consideration, on this one.
So far it is nothing like the other books in this series. These characters have been through some *major* shit.

This is definitely different from the other books in this series. I'm not picking this one up as often, but I'm not quitting, dammit.

Is this a literary masterpiece?
No.
Is it fun as hell?
Yes.

I have no idea what the hell is going on, but surprisingly, I don't mind (so far).

Within the first 10 pages, I thought this wouldn't be for me. After reading some comments and reviews that advised sticking with it, I have, and it's picking up and getting interesting.
We'll see how this goes.

You know what, I know everyone just adores this book, and that's awesome for them, but ... I kinda don't get the love.

BookTok, which I need to stay away from, loves this series. I listen to BookTok entirely too much and I admit it. It's costing me too much money and adding to my utterly ridiculous TBR.
Anyway, I'm giving it a go.
We'll see.

Uh ... I know everyone (seemingly) loves this, but I do not. It's kind of juvenile and a little too cutie for my taste. Plus, the friendships are a bit over the top and unrealistic.
No matter at this point ... I'm soldiering on. But we better get to moving by about 50-60% or I'm throwing in the towel.

I read this years ago - along with damn near every other book about the OJ Simpson trial - and the passing of Simpson kind of renewed my interest in all of that hot mess.
So far, this is just as detailed, descriptive, and good as I remember.

This book is PISSING ME OFF.
These people are nuts. Batshit insane.

Good Lord, I hope this gets better, because at this point it's a snooze fest,I'm bored as hell, and the MC gets on my nerves.

I'm having a hell of a time getting into this.

This is so good. SO GOOD. If you haven't read it, stop what you're doing right now and order it or put it on hold at your library.

A little slow and plodding at this point - but I'm enjoying it.

I keep checking this out from the library on my Kindle, and letting it expire. Finishing the damn thing, ever, does not look likely at this point.

This is really good, and I'm enjoying it - but you could make a drinking game out of every time the main character says "ye Gods". As in "ye Gods, help me". If I notice it, it's too much.

I actually started this in late March. I hope to finish it by 2018. GOOD LORD.

Starting a new job in late February that keeps me swamped = no way I'm meeting my reading goal this year. UGH. Trying to find time to finish what I've been reading since MARCH. I miss my books!
