Trying a different book off my TBR to break up my track record of big fantasy books this year.
So far only z is out of the book but I’m excited to see what the order will end up being

I did not do nearly as much reading on my trip as I anticipated. Or on the airplane
But I'm back to work which means I've got time to read throughout the day!!

Goal is to finish this before I get back to Vancouver - 4 hours on this flight left let’s see how much I can read

I’m liking the character dynamics and growth but I’m such a sucker for high fantasy that I wish we had more time before big events like betrayals
Otherwise lots of fun and likely will pop onto the next one pretty quick

Ok so I went to start the next Robin Hobb book and then started this instead
Fun sci-fi read so far! I can see why if you like Will of the Many people say to read this too. Darrow is a brash teenager pretending to be someone he’s not. We’ll see how it goes for him throughout

Very curious where this was headed
Still enjoying it but it’s a very slow and steady book

Very interesting so far!
I’ll be honest I had no idea what I was getting into but Hobb has created an engaging world and protagonist in a lovely slower paced novel

Gonna try this out and maybe go to Schwab if the vibes aren’t right, we’ll see!

Listen, I haven't been reading at all this summer apparently but that will change in the next couple weeks folks!
My goal is to finish this on the plane and then blast through books on my trip!

This book jumps right into the action. Still trying to figure out what I think of the characters but I do like Vi the most.
Planning to try and finish it this week because I've fallen behind (on schedule for 30 books for the year)

Am I reading a Bucky book in the year 2026? Absolutely

Made lots of progress today as my students played piano. So glad they've found each other again, albeit briefly. Very interested to see how this war will end

Decided to read this one before a gathering of shadows. Tragically I have been not sitting much at work so not a lot of reading time lately but summer is almost here!!

I’m enjoying this immensely - sorry Claire but wayyy more than her other duology
Slow “vacation” day in whistler means half of a book read on my kindle with a view of the mountains

Onto book two of this trilogy! I like Schwab's books a lot, idk how it took me this long to get onto another one of her series

Wow, what a concept. I haven't read as much this week because I've been actually teaching.
Made some progress today as the kids did student leds which was nice

Started this book last night, lots of puzzle pieces always up in the air

Made lots of progress at work yesterday. Gonna pause for a couple days because I'm going to do my usual one full novel during hosting this weekend!

Steadily making progress. I'm worried about Sidra but we'll see how everything plays out

Jumped back into this world yesterday at the rodeo, waiting to see how Jack and Adaira reconnect

Made a lot of progress on Saturday waiting for the May Day Parade. I truly forgot so much of this story so it's been almost a first time read for me

Taking a brief break from the usual fantasy books for the Outsiders because most of my students are reading it and I haven't read it since grade 8

Decent read, unfortunately I have not been reading a ton at work lately so this is taking me far longer than it should

I've actually been busy at work and haven't read a lot wow

Jack Tamerlaine every time feels like a covey name and I can't unread it

Interesting story so far. Waiting for it to truly hook me but I love how full his home feels so far of reading

Claire's choice of book, we'll see how it is but thankfully it's a short read compared to a lot of the later books in the DCC series

Drag races are an odd choice - so far not my favourite of the books but I’ll be blasting though the whole book this weekend as I host

Finally finished! Saw the Katia storyline coming but I did like the twist of getting rid of the god pilot. No idea where the next book is going but excited to start

Listen, I meant to finish this over the weekend but it just didn't happen. Hopefully get through it within the next day or so

I wasn’t expecting the naga to not be a problem this early. We’ll see how the rest of the war goes!
