I am NOT finishing this book. I don't even feel guilty about this.

I know I only just started, but I must say I have trouble with the premise that she is so beautiful, considering that chapter 1 starts "I had already done my base, eyes, and cheeks." If someone is that beautiful that it is a "curse," wouldn't they not require makeup, seeing as that makeup is meant to enhance our features. Now, if it was stated that she used makeup to hide her beauty...

I like it for what it is meant to be

Kind of reads like a sixteen year old wrote it. Very very similar to Hunger Games in certain respects.
