I had the privilege of learning under Dr Pace during my undergraduate studies at OBU. I was not a good student but his preaching class was one class that I remember. I picked up this book hoping it would be like his class and that I might pick up somethings I missed. I was not disappointed. Dr Pace makes preaching out to be important but not impossible. This book is a great introduction!

I picked the book out at the store because it was written by a professor from my Alma Mater. I started reading it because I am preaching through Genesis and infertility is a theme. My wife and I have also had 3 miscarriages and I was eager to seek what Arbo said.
I was blessed by reading this book. It’s not an emotionally easy read, but it is important and good. Arbo highlights the gospels impact in infertility.

This is a solid summary of what Christianity is and a helpful guide filled with questions to ask. Not meant to be read alone, it’s meant to be a discipleship tool.

My only hesitation is it is written by Francis Chan and he has done some odd things lately (reverting to church services revolving around communion instead of the Word). This book itself is great, but I am concerned about Chan.

Very practical and straight Forward.
