I love the way this book is written, how all the different timelines in Gifty's childhood and current day mix together as the book progresses.

I'm listening to the audio of this since that's all that was available at my library :( and I have (unfortunately) more pressing matters to spend my money on than books, even if they are Sanderson books.

I started reading this last fall. Eh. I don't know if I'll ever get around to finishing it 😬

I neeeeeeeddddd to stop starting 3 or 10 books at once. Or reading the first chapter and then setting it aside. Like, does that count as starting a book? By putting it back do I actually DNF it? Gah too many questions and too many books

I tried not to come in to this with any expectations but WOW. I AM BLOWN AWAY. This may not be the most exciting or thrilling of novels, but I'm entrapped nonetheless. Such an interesting premise.
