The first story is an absolute nugget of a short story: characters, setting, and theme. I went on to read a few more stories and was disappointed in that these seem to revolve around sex and we're so terribly negative. I had to put this down for awhile and hopefully when I pick this up again, I'll be better prepared to pursue the remainder of the stories.

Excellent story, though I was somewhat confused with the different scenarios being tossed around. The characters served as backdrops to Rutledge's inner bogeys, although he begins to take more interest in the people around him. I totally enjoy this series.
