I'm progressing really slowly with this one, stories are so different from one to another that I have some trouble getting absorbed in the whole thing, but I always read slowly close to the end of the year.

I have some trouble reading this one, the very old comics are so full of paternalism towards women and strangers fro other countries, it is hard to to forget this. I hope the second part with more recent comics will be more interesting.

I finished the first story, L'été, and it was very different from all I have read so far by Albert Camus, I had some trouble with the style. I'll see how it goes with the second story, Les Amandiers.

I'm still enjoying each word of this wonderful book, I love the characters, the style, the atmosphere, the humor, it is the essence of what marvels mister Neil Gaiman can create.

After spending all summer reading aloud to my 5yo son The neverending story i searched for something in the same "fantastic legendary tale" atmosphere and picked this one at the library, knowing that I can put my trust in M. Gaiman.
So far I'm enjoying this story and the writing style as much as my son does, we loved the first encounter with the Fox, the bear and the eagle.

Ok, this was unexpected. I litteraly adored the 2 other novels from Tristan Egolf, they were unique, corrosive, fascinating, intelligents, funny and commited to offer an acid and lucid view on humanity. I just started this one and though it seems to deal with all these themes...it is so messy and "flat" that I can't manage to be interested. I'll try some more but I'm confused.

I fell in love with the gorgeous cover and a friend recommended this to me, but so far I'm kind of disappointed with the light writing style and the lack of deepness in the characters...

Je pensais qu'un petit recueil d'anecdotes de cet acteur dont j'apprécie tant la verve serait un délice à lire, hélas le style est trop abstrait et décousu pour moi, je peine à terminer ce livre pourtant très court.

I enjoyed a lot the two other volumes of these stories and the same pleasure is here for this one. Just finished reading the first story and it was really good.

This one has been sitting on my shelves for years now, finally started it and...it's a tough reading. To focus both on the main book and on the side writings from the two students is difficult, I'll try to keep going some more though.

This book is as interesting as I expected, I'm reading it quite slowly due to the hardness of the real events described in it.

I have mixed feelings about this one so far, I can see the point where it wants to go but the way is slow and not that interesting and the writing style is quite below what I used to enjoy while reading SW novels lately.

I'm having a hard time reading this one, I don't know if the french version is partly responsible but the poor writing style is not motivating at all.
And what bothers me the most is that I can't recognize the characters I deeply love in Star Wars Rebels. Hera and Kanaan are described here quite in a complete opposite way of psychology, values and attitudes, it is disturbing and lacks some respect in my opinion.

After trying several times to go back to this reading I finally quit.
Though I was really interested by learning more about the life of a person that tried to changed so many things for the better in the history of manking, me being an atheist really had hard times while trying to skip all the religious parts, and I couldn't got myself interested in all the Pasteur part of all this.
