Glad to be getting back into my work book club after months but man is this one depressing af

I should amend my earlier statement. June is rapidly getting more and more definitively unbearable. The real difference is that she knows it.

In terms of protagonists, so far this feels a bit closer to what I was hoping for from Yesteryear, a bit less - pardon the turn of phrase - black and white in terms of unlikability.

every time a book switches between time periods there is always one that is far more interesting. (same applies to narrators/povs.) this one is no exception

I started reading this on a plane and immediately realized that was a Bad Idea but now that I’m on solid ground I’ve been hooked

Only 60 pgs in and this one has it all - anxious bisexuals, sassy bisexuals who like to be in everyone’s business, and perpetual third wheels. Happy pride indeed
