Omg, Tanya, Grisha and Dolly have just made this one of my favourite chapters in the book 🥲. It’s so wholesome.

Dolly - country house in Ergushovo, where Oblonsky sold the forest earlier on - “…, hooks were put into the wardrobes, which no longer opened at their own sweet will; an ironing board covered with coarse cloth lay across the arm of a chair and a chest of drawers in the maid’s room, and the smell of hot irons soon pervaded the room.”

Started off funny and intriguing, but I didn’t get the second half. Did Arthur find out from the palm-reader that he would only be happy in marriage if he committed murder?
