Is there a reason why the author starts 5 out of 6 paragraphs with the same characters name? Why does the author keep stating ‘the Western State Hospital’. Is the author that my ch of an idiot he thinks readers will forget?

The so called basement at this hospital is actually ground level. It has lots of windows and doors nothing dank & dark about it. A very nice clean ward where patients care happens.

Laundry has never been in the ducks by basement. But then a PCT (something the hospital doesn’t & never had) does nit clean up from broken water lines. Oh and the basement is not aging. Fucking idiot author.

This book is nothing but a bunch of lies. The author cannot even understand the difference in a breezeway and wards. There was s not a single breezeway in this damn hospital. I work there I do know this for a fact.

How many times does this author need to state a character’s name in the same paragraph? Does the author actually think readers will forget the characters name?

"It must be legal" on page 6 or 7.

Really?!? There is a reason it is called Moonshine. That is because it is made by the light of the moon. If it is legal it is NOT FREAKING Moonshine. It cannot be bought on a store shelf. It has to be sold in clear glass mason jars. Come on. Seems like the author could have at least researched and gotten the right.

This book was published in 2001. This author is a medical doctor. Strange how she knows nothing about HIPAA laws. No way in the world would a doctor share medical records with the police WITHOUT a release from the patient or family if the patient is dead.

I have been driving a tractor that is 10 years older than I am. Have not had a single problem with it. The author needs to learn about tractors before assuming anything about them.

Really wondering how the author decided that a tractor from the 1950's was so old that it probably would not be able to hold a bolt in the hitch. But then since the author did not call it a hitch she probably does not know how a piece of equipment hooks up to a tractor.

The first page and it has already pissed me off. Come one. One heifer (female cow) does NOT freaking equal being a dairy farmer. Maybe if the character had a herd of 20-30 cattle that would be a herd, but NOT 1!!!! Why in the freaking world do authors write about stuff they know nothing about?

Really?!? Geeks are not the only people to be organized. I have know geeks to be very disorganized people. The author is very bias and needs a lesson in life. I wonder if she has ever left her little isolated island to venture out into the real world.

This author does not know anything about farming. Does she not realize it was the damn government that paid chemical companies to create herbicide's and pesticides? Oh and FYI glyphosate is the generic name for Roundup.

For the author a small shocking decide for a fence is called an electric fence. It provides electric current running thru wire to either keep animals in an enclosed area or out of a specific area. However a rabbit would be able to go under a fence or hop over the strands. Easier solution would be to fence the area with chicken wire.

I would really like to know when salt poured on the ground did not become serious for a farmer. Does the author not know that salt will make the ground unable to sustain any type of crops?

Okay this part really does not ring true: "Most small farmers can't afford to apply pesticides or chemical fertilizers in a major way." Sorry my father is what most people call a small time farmer an average of 1500-2000 acres a year and he uses pesticides and chemical fertilizers. No matter what I wish people would understand that farming is not always about chemical usage.

I was going to rate this book probably a 2 star. It is okay but not the best. Then I get to the 47.2% and I read about Thumper. A character in the book has a pet rabbit. Not only does she has a pet rabbit but the rabbit lives in the house. Not stuffed in a backyard cage. This book has moved up a lot in stars for this information.

To the author: Arsenic alone will not kill plants. It is an additive with other chemicals that helps to kill plants.

Don't know if I will be able to finish this book or the series. This author does not know anything. Seems like the author just typed something into Google and took that as fact! Remember Google is NOT always your friend.

Really wondering if this author knows anything about backwoods country life. Good, true moonshine is not suppose to flame and/or burn the person throat when they take a sip. Good 'shine is suppose to be smooth over the lips, easy on the tongue and going down. When it hits the stomach is when it is suppose to flame and burn.

Advice to the author next time go out of your city and do a little research.

I really question if this author knows anything beyond city life? Farmers do not have specific clothing and there was no need to put farmer before each clothing description.

"He had on camel-colored farm coveralls, a black-and-white checkered flannel shirt underneath, and tall rubber farm boots."
