I decided to try this another time. Something about this just couldn't keep my interest. Maybe some book trope, ie. instalove (on the first book) and now a possible love triangle, Maybe some other time. The plot sounds good, but still... pet peeves.

The synopsis implies a love triangle. Ugh!
I HATE LOVE TRIANGLE!!!
I could see a lot of page-skimming in the future.

30% and I'm already loving this book and the crew. Especially Inej and Wylan.

Elara’s cupid mouth parted. “Please have kids. I want mini-Romys. They would be the cutest thing.” Her face fell into a scowl. “I’ll kill anyone who hurts them.”

I guess this one will be about Sloane... My fave underrated character in the series.

This reminds me of Kelley Armstrong's The Darkest Power...

I'm getting bored and so close to DNF-ing.

I'm reallly close to DNFing.. Barely tolerating this one.
