Emma is starting The Rook (The Checquy Files, #1)

I'm re-reading this because 'Stiletto' (second book in the series) is out in Australia. Unfortunately (well, not really unfortunately because I'm on an amazing holiday) I'm in Japan meaning I can't get access to the book, so I'm taking this as a sign that I should re-read the first book, & refresh my memory. I'm really excited because I know I enjoyed this book a lot!

Emma is 60% done with A Tangle of Gold (The Colours of Madeleine, #3)

OH. MY. GOD. I only just got something that I probably should have picked up on a book ago. But oh my god! This is easily the best book of the series.
