Update! Ascendant 2 progresses. I'm approximately 100,000 words through the draft but according to my plan this is only about half way! It's going to be a big one.

I rewrite and edit a lot until I feel happy with things. I also run a publishing company which obviously takes up a lot of time too.

It's felt like a harder road in some respects but I'm very excited to get this out into the world next year.

Very pleased to announce that The Dragon's Blade will soon be an audio book as well! Using ACX I have found a fantastic narrator, Mr. Dave Cruse. Audio books are important to me - I basically grew up on Stephen Fry's reading of Harry Potter - so getting an audio version of my own book has always been high on the wish list.

Excitement!

I am also reading Landfall by Peter Newman. It's a tie-in novel he wrote for Albion Online.... for some reason it is not on Goodreads! So yeh it's quite fun (nice and light as I edit) and especially interesting how he's managed to incorporate the core elements of the gameplay into the story so far.

Smashing my way through this. Damn it's good. Also one of the only 1st person stories where I've connected to the character.

The Dragon's Blade: Veiled Intentions has been sent to my editor! I will attempt to be a better functioning human being now it's handed off. Results may vary.
