I am loving this series. The King's daughter was not ever thought by the king to be of any consequence, he routinely dismissed her as a nonessential person in his life. As a result she was sent to the priory with her 4 sisters to live in squalor. Her second eldest sister made plans for her to escape north and she set about putting the plan in action. As a result, she was met by a man and his soldiers.
