Why are we using the 2020’s phrase “low key” in a fantasy world 😩

I don’t think I can do another “woe are us mortals we aren’t the rich and elite gods but whoops no one told me (fmc) I’m secretly a powerful half-god” book. I had such high hopes based on the reviews but so far the plot is the same as every other romantasy. Tell me it gets better?

Obsessed. I’m going to need more books that read like Indiana Jones in my near future. I mean I’m biased because I love that genre of movie, but I am eating up this jungle adventure.

They better explain how Ye “deciphered” the message that couldn’t have been in any kind of language we know.

Obsessed. It’s a like a slow burn romance but with my brain and getting to Area X.

Halfway through the audiobook and I feel like this isn't going anywhere. The plot has made almost no progress? I'll give it a bit more. Thank goodness the narrator is great.
