As soon as the secret was revealed this all being extremely predictable and pointless to finish.

Great start, then we switched to four characters I'm not interested in adding considerable boring bloat. Boo.

Liking an author's previous books doesn't mean you will like them all. I can't get into this. I don't like these people, I don't like the way it is told. Rich people and their "dahlings" I don't want to get to know them I don't care who killed anyone.

Interesting concept, Sherlock and Watson type of setup, but like old mysteries this gets way too bogged down in the details and progression is very slow. Probably the way a real investigation goes, but much too slow for me.

This is extremely difficult for me to get into. It's clunky, repetitive, and the main character is extremely dim witted. It's an interesting world, and I want to find out where it goes, but it could really stand to be 300 pages shorter.

Not grabbing me at all, struggling to get through every POV

I truly do not have the patience for the details of this woman's life on this marsh or pier or whatever, that whole last chapter was mind numbingly boring for me, can't do it

Knives Out style large family murder investigation sounds fun, but it's overly wordy and old school style, which is a bit boring and drawn out for me

The premise of this is revealed quicker than I thought it would be, and it's not a plot I'm interested in continuing at this point

I can't get into any part of it, even though I keep pushing to hope to get to the good parts, not liking any of it is not a good sign

This is way too long winded and meandering to keep my attention in a genre like this

The multiple viewpoints isn't helping, the main character is certainly interesting, but it's not grabbing me

Can't get into either section, there's definitely something weird with the mother from page one but the journey to discover it isn't grabbing me.

I was really enjoying this, then it changed characters, and it lost me, I skimmed through, then it introduced a ride, and another character, and I'm not interested anymore

I can't get into the past, or the current time, or the history of the place, say it's witches and some sort of curse, great, or it's not really the kid, cool, don't care

I don't think I'm into how to freak out and drive across the country when the world is ending books, I like more of the how to live in the aftermath books. It's all just a bunch of screaming yelling confusing betrayal, it's all the same.

The telling of this through memories isn't grabbing me, it feels a bit convoluted, it seems like an interesting world but I want to skip too much

I'm not a fan of the multiple protagonists or the powers, I don't think this one is for me.

Highly annoying rich people with constant banter and way too much filler. Mystery in space sounds good, but not with this cast of characters.

I really enjoy one of the characters, but can't get into the other characters at all

There are too many faceless characters who all run together, cop with wife, lady cop, new person, older consulting cop, and their daily lives take away from the case. It might have been better with more focus.

I have a really hard time enjoying books with awful characters, and I don't like anyone or anything about this at all at this point. It's weird, but not in a good or interesting way.

Investigating behind the scenes someone who is definitely involved in bad things, I think it's clear where that will lead, and I don't care enough about the characyer or the situation to read through it.

It's all so weird, I mostly want to learn about the non human pretend to be human character which makes the other two sections tough to read. I passed the reveal connection part and don't get the point of any of this at all. It's a jumbled mess of words that mean nothing.

This is really hard to get into, starting with gangs, cards, and performances is really weird, there's nothing grabbing me or standing out to latch onto, it's just a mismatch of uninteresting things

Can't get into it, the long drawn out details of the library sister and the boring daily life of the South Pole sister and not grabbing me at all
