Will this be a book I keep after reading?! On the fence!

I have literally never been so confused by a book in my life… I reread the first couple of chapters over and over again because I was so lost… just to figure out every other chapter is a HUGE skip in the story timeline. 🤣😭🙄 But… so far so good =)
