This would be my first DNF after a long time. Sadly, this book is not for me right now. Protagonists are hard to root for and I don't find them compelling to follow. The killer is too ahead of the curve to be believable for me. Maybe I'll pick this up some other time.

DNF'ing this paperback copy that I have because someone at NBS thought it was a great idea to stick the square security sticker thing on an actual page of the book, thereby ruining it. Thank goodness, I got this at a secondhand price because what a disaster it would've been had I got it brand new like this. Another secondhand (but hardcover) copy on the way, then I'll dive right back into this.

Trying to get out of a reading slump! I've been binging horror movies, which I haven't done in a while but in turn I wasn't able to keep the reading wheel going. Thought this would be the perfect book for my goal, and just in time before the spin-off movie comes out.

I totally forgot to log this book and now I don't remember when I started it. Oh, well.

Re-reading this before jumping into Part 2.
