I don't remember this one as much as the first or second, and I think the part that is so interesting is that this is all Tiffany's fault, and every time she tries to shift the blame there is someone to say no, you did it, you fix it.

I am hoping this will wrap up the badger storyline and Nell and Keene's story smoothly vs it being pushed into the back to set up another spin off.

So, I thought I liked cozy fantasy but I am definitely wishing the plot was plotting a bit more. I think the problem is that Gav is not interesting enough to carry a book on his introspection.

Some of the introspection is making it drag a bit. I want to learn more about the goblins and that relationship vs listening to a grown man talk about how he is "too bad to be a hero, too good to be a villain'.

I forgot how Dina got annoying when she was being confrontational vs listening and asking

I really thought this would be one where the relationship wasn't dragged out just to drag it out and yet here we are 🙃🙃

The pacing on this was going well, and then we had to have the random stop and mope about the relationship and how they have historically dealt with relationships.

These scenes should be us seeing them fall in love! Them interacting with each other and bantering so that the moping makes sense when it happens!

You slow down the story for no reason.

I know, I know, but third time's the charm? I did enjoy the second book more than the first, and hopefully we get more of the fantasy world.
