i will finish this book if it’s the last thing i do

100 pages in & I literally feel like I’m reading about nothing. And the way everyone is acting is pissing me off… & the author doesn’t write with any expression at all, not sure if that’s meant to be like that or not :/

this book is definitely keeping me on my toes cause what am i reading half the time

i can only remember the big plots in this book so everything else is hitting me extra hard & the ptsd is kicking in SEVERELY!

chapter 7… that was insane. the parallels to what’s happening in Palestine…

rereading this makes me realize that none of the twitter or tiktok girlies actually read the books because they’re hot takes are literally clear as day in the books 😭 don’t get me wrong, i love the deep dissections but it is a YA book and Collins writes everything katniss does as very literal. Like even gale, his actions are so calculated for a reason !!!! we love to see it

this timeline is absolutely mental but i am obsessed in the best way. im glad mission’s story is over though, like i get it but damn i was bored

I thought I would be bored reading considering I already know what happens essentially, but I’m surprised at how much I forgot. I’m really enjoying it. A lot of explaining and world building/thought readings but I’m liking it. I’m now understanding that I’m gonna have to read all 3 books in order to get the whole picture 🙃

i am very interested to read this!! the story is sooo captivating on screen and i want to understand it better.

determined to finish this book before february but i find it going a little slow. love that it’s building on the character relationships though. the only thing i am really finding irritating about this is that she just gave whit such a bland excuse for his betrayal like it was a paragraph and done. ???? and the fact that isadora is just her bff all of a sudden.. I don’t buy it

just got to part two what the fuck. IT LITERALLY STARTED OFF SO CUTE all married and coupled up and shit and now where are we ?!? how did we get here !!!! whitford, they could never make me hate you, but they could make me hate you like 60/40 cause what the hell !!
