I can't bring myself to care. The writing just didn't clicking. I don't want 10 page monologues from random characters that I'll never meet again. I can see what Klune is trying to do and I like the overall message on society and religion but this isn't for me. It is fine, just fine.

This reads like a bad self insert fanfiction mixed with a little bit of Chronicle of Narnia esque religion.

We have had 1 slur and animal cruelty so far. This is also giving strong religious vibe. The way they describe "the light" some people have and how it's sad not everyone can feel it is giving evangelical. I'll report back when I'm further through.
