If anyone is comparing this to Lights Out, don’t. It’s a solid read. But it’s not funny, whereas LO was top shelf. Easily 4 ✨ from me. I had an added layer of romance in mind that didn’t come to fruition. Will gladly read the third when the time comes.

I think the world is too mean to be leaving bad reviews so I’ll keep my 2 ⭐️ to myself and leave this one unrated.
Why is it a two star? It lacks supporting evidence to convince me of the characters feelings; to justify actions. If you’re looking for erotica, I mean I guess this is it? If you’re looking for romance, I think it’s severely lacking.
There is a plot, at least. One I don’t mind.

I feel like I audiobooked this one a few years ago. And I’ve started it multiple times. Determined to finish it this year. I really cannot remember how it ends!
