In the maze runner everyone has an obligation, since they are all trapped in a maze. They were given supplies but they also have to grow and slaughter. In the maze they keep things working by giving everyone a job. If people do not do their obligation the town will crumble. In the book the main character is still looking for a job he fits so that he can help the community.

They are acquainted by magnificent monsters who consistently guard the maze. Most of the kids have bad etiquette. They think someone is trying to use psychology on them to make them crazy. No one ever feels ecstasy. No one there is prejudice either because everyone has a different nationality.

The Worst Years of My Life (Middle School #1)
Middle School is not the best book but it is pretty good. I finished my other book and found it on my shelf. It is about a boy named Rafe who does not fit in in school. He does not fit in so he talks to his imaginary friend and makes a game were you get points by breaking rules. The greater the rule the more points you get.

The book of the year for me was SYLO by D.J. MacHale. The reasons I choose this book are the action, suspense and mystery. This book has action around every corner that will have you jumping out of tour seat. But when you sit down the suspense will keep you on the edge of it and make you never want to stop reading. The action though will have you trying to google what happens.

The book Jack recommends is Island of Dragons by Lisa McMann.
He recommends this book because it deals with magic, action and suspense. The suspense plays a big factor in the book because you never want to stop reading it. He says that there is the most action in this book of the series. He also says it is neat to see the creativity of the author through the use of magic in the book.

The review I read was from Kirkus reviews. This review describes the main idea of the story and tells how Dj Majale knows how to speak to boy readers. They also explains how he keeps it action packed and he adds the right amount of parsimony to keep the pages moving. "Mchale knows boy readers and delivers,.."

In my book currently the three characters, Tucker, Tori and Kent Andre escaping from a prison that was made on their island. This prison was built so that SYLO, the organization running the prison, could find these people they call rouges. The people in the prison though are mostly innocent and no one on the island that they are living on know what is going on, but these three characters are finding out.

I read in different places but usually I read in my room. I never time my reading but I probably read 20 pages in 30 min, I have lots of books at home and I read a hard copy. My dad reads ALOT but my mom doesn't and my brother has trouble reading.

This shows that tucker loves and trusts his parents because he is trying to believe they have not been lying to him, when he heard them talking with the soldiers keeping them captive. Tucker really shows traits I would have I would really try believing my parents no matter what.

The character Tucker, reminds me of myself because of the love and trust he has for his parents and friends. In the book tucker and two of his friends are trying to escape and island they are prisoner on after they found out their parents were working for the people keeping them captive. When they are about to leave Tucker says,"'I don't want to believe my parents are working for SYLO.'"(219).

An example of the author slowing the scene down is in this same part. The dark shadow is about to explode and the scene slows down and starts going in to detail, like me and Quin threw our arms up to block the light, and smart we did because the streaking light was only prelude.

My author adds the element of suspense and mystery by slowing the scene down and going into detail. An example from the book of complete detail is when there was a mysterious object in the sky and the author describes it as pitch black and the size of a small air plane. Another example of complete detail when describing this object is when the author describes it as oval shaped like a giant manta ray. .

A minor character in my book is suriiwong. He is a general for Thailand and a battle school graduate. He helps Bean try to take down Achillies and is an important friend to Bean. Suriiwong travels with Bean and becomes one of his best allies. He started out being very stubborn but he learned to like Bean and Bean liked him back.

The people that Bean encounter always want different things, like the enemy Achillies wants to rule the world, Bean and his friend commander want to defeat Achillies. One similarity though is that everyone except for Bean wants power

Based on the plot of "The Shadow of Hegemon" the statement,"most people want the same things in life," is not always true and it depends on your personality. The main character, Bean, is always encountering and dealing with different people trying to get different things on his way to get his goals. .

There are other characters who are also in different countries too. The countries that the main character has been in are Brazil, Russia, Pakistan, India and The United States. The book also is very good about showing culture differences. The characters will probably keep moving and there will be more places that they have been in.

The setting of my book is many different places on earth. I can tell because the author tells the reader where the characters are. The main character has been in 4 different countries so far because he is in hiding and does not want to get tracked.
