Part 2, Chapter 6
Written in 1956, this was ahead of its time. Still enjoying the reread.

Starting chapter 20, smooth reading, good story, still not sure how I will feel at the end.

2nd reading. Starting chapter 16. This is shaping to be as good as I remember.

Starting chapter 13, a little slow getting into it, but now I am becoming invested in seeing what happens.

I had hoped this would be good. I've not been disappointed.

Coming to the end of this and it has been really good

Starting Part 3, the invasion begins.

I'm loving this. Nothing better than an action-adventure classic.

It's interesting in the same year that Gone With the Wind was the #1 best seller this one was #4. This is still a solid read, and I am still really enjoying it.

The end is not far away. Still a good read, some of the characters are not particularly likeable.

This appears like it will be one of the best reads of the year.

I had hoped this would be good, so far, it's much better than I hoped

First five chapters done. I have always been leery of reading books by Lawrence. Yet, of the works I have read I have been impressed at how smoothly they read.

As much as I like short stories, I'm ready for this one to end. No complaints, but Chever has yet to WOW me.

Excellent story, fast-paced, and smoothly written. Book seven is just as much fun reading as the first six.

The next story is "The Day the Pig Fell Into the Well" How can this not be good?

This is my third time reading this, second as an adult. Time travel is my favorite science fiction trope. This was the first I ever read.

At two stories per day, I just finished the eighth story. Like all short story collections some grab me others don't. but the first eight have been enjoyable.

Six stories finished, two left.

Read two of the eight stories, The Angel at the Grave and Xingu, both were rereads. Looking forward to the rest.

As good as I has hoped, but oh it's brutal.

This will be my third time reading this. Looks like it will still be a favorite.

I've read the first two Cantos, will have to read this one slowly and thoughtfully.

I have read and loved a lot of books, but this one still stands alone as the best ever.

Not much left, I'm going to hate seeing this one end.

Smoothly written, fast paced reading. So far a great read.

A great way to start the New Year! At this point it looks like a solid five star read.

Part 2, Chapter 13,69% Complete
This one is giving me a little trouble. It is hard to stay focused.

This is one of his early works, so far, it’s good, but I expect nothing less from Follett.
