I read this based off of a rec from a friend after how much I'd like Gone with the Wind, as Amber is almost as insufferable as Scarlett O'Hara.
Amber is definitely a survivor, but not the brightest. It was a 42-hour long audiobook that I did make it through, so I guess if you liked historical epics of women making poor decisions, being vindictive/clever and a love interest, or 5-you may enjoy this one.
