I started this book after reading the first 4 books of the From Blood and Ash series. There are similarities between the two series besides the fact that these are a prequel to the From Blood and Ash series. However, I find this series easier to read and more enjoyable. The characters are easier to connect with and the entire cadence of the book flows easier.

I started this one as an audio book on a 2-hour drive. The main story line seems interesting and is keeping my attention. I could do without the "You" chapters which are told from the killer's point of view.
