I'm doing the audiobook from hoopla (thank you for being available!) and am so excited.

So far, I've had Brennan, Mira and am now on Xaden's POV. I really was surprised how much I enjoyed Brennan's and it had some wonderful bits in there I won't spoil. Mira's also surprised me, getting to see in her head was different as an only child, seeing more of the family dynamics between the siblings in such a short span.

And it really occurred to me then how far into him I was. I realized the more you fell in love with someone, the more you fell in love with yourself. You learn to value who you are because you mean the world to that person and you want to see what they see in you.

Love isn't just about keeping score, or what one does for another person and what another person has to do in return.

I just can't finish this one right now. It's not working for me at all. Maybe I'll try again when I have less things on my TBR list.

Interesting so far, if not slow. Hopefully it picks up soon.

Words complicated communication. People were not able to hear the intent of a message that was passed when they were clouded by their own thoughts, desires, fears and judgement.

Only after we've done a thing do we know what we'll do, and by then whatever we've done has already begun to sever itself from clear significance, at least for the doer.

Pretty good start to a new biker series! Looking forward to the next one!

FINALLY. I have my greedy hands on this book. All other books are being put on hold until this is done. Even my ones for school.

I can't think about that, about Mom seeping. So instead I think how fitting it is that she was hit first, that she was the one to buffer us from the blow. It wasn't her choice, obviously, but it was her way.

Loved this one! Hunter and Taylor werr so sweet. The lucky stuff aspect was also pretty neat!

That's what they all say. Everyone says they want to know you, but they don't. They want to know the nice things, the pretty things. No one wants to know the ugly parts, the parts that keep you up at night. They say they're ojay with it, but then they drift away and you never see them again. I've seen it happen way too many times. Girls don't want to know that shit.
