Typos all over. Sigh.

Page 92 - Raj bring two plates of steaming chicken marsala out. Page 100 - The cook brings two steaming plates of chicken marsala. This is disappointing.

Good ideas. not really as well written as most cozies I read.

So far the writing is not the best.

So wait, Jeb called it in because he saw water dripping from the ceiling on the first floor. The bathtub that was supposed to have caused this leak is on the fourth floor. That would have to be lots of water to leak through all those floors down to the first floor. And the floor on the fourth floor was not even wet. I really don't like this book.

The sisters can't help Taylor at the mansion because they have arthritis and can't do stairs. Taylor lives on the second floor above the candy shop doesn't she? Aren't they in her place all the time for the dream meetings?

It's a chore to read. I'm sad.

At one point early in the book I could swear there was a house phone. Then later the reader is told there is no house phone, only cell phones. Just now, I read that a phone rings and the machine picks up to screen the call. More inconsistencies. The more I find the less enjoyable the book becomes. I am considering now if I will continue the series. 24 pages to convince me.

First Gina forgot her key, and a few pages later, she never had a key. Is this a plot thing or another inconsistency?

Chapter four starts on Saturday night at a local pizza place and the girls are talking. During the conversation one of the girls says that it is Friday night. A small inconsistency.

I don't like this book. I'm not going to finish it. I don't know why really.

I am very unhappy with the characters at this point, especially Joe and Hogan! I remember them as very caring in previous books, however right now they are a-holes. I am not sure at this point if I will finish this book and if I don't I will never read anything by the author again. I certainly hope it shapes up and fast!!

The author used "Eddie and I" when she should have used "Eddie and me." This is very disappointing.

So far I'm getting frustrated. In just 33 pages I keep thinking "that just would never happen." Yes, I know it's fiction and in most cozies may things wouldn't happen. Usually though even though things wouldn't happen, still, they could. But here I'm perplexed. There might be somebody drowning in a vat of milk. Now is not the time to explain the art of making cheese!

2nd book in a row I've read where a name is spelled wrong. Sometimes the dog is Byron and sometimes Bryon.

So right around halfway through and the only thing that bothers me is that the spelling of a character's name is not consistent. Dayna sometimes and Dana sometimes. Very annoying.
