Um… what’s with the nickname change, idk it’s giving the ick lol weird and random lol

Log the banter is fantastic! I will say the inner monologue of chapter one was dragging but it’s picked right up!!

Just started reading and can I just mention the Bordeaux narrators channeled their ZA characters FMC sounds like Darcy in not just voice but attitude, same with Mike and an older Professor Orion, and ofc the beta chasing her in the opening scene is giving Seth vibes tuh love it already

Opened with a last will and testament from I’m assuming The Silencer.. I love a good punisher esq character. He then goes on to save the FMC and my heart! He is killing bad guys.. because the crime is rampant in their city and the police may or may not come when you call. Whew so much to start!

I just knew the shoes was about to drop smh
