I am so mad at this woman’s life

I love Mabel and want to be her when I grow up, but… I’m still waiting for something exciting to happen

I don’t really care about any of these characters. Are they characters? When this is based on real life (supposedly?)? If this was a library book, I’d DNF but I actually purchased it so I’m gonna finish it, but it’s slow going

I don’t really feel like there’s very much going on in this book …

I have been plugging away at this with the promise that it’s a great series. I really love that friend, but I do not think this is my cup of tea! It’s not that it’s bad, it’s just that I don’t care about outer space and battles and betrayal and blaaahhhhhb
