Ahhhhh I needed the familiarity and comfort of this!

Omg fighting betrayal betrayal betrayal fighting fighting betrayal betrayal. I am NOT having fun with this book and I know that’s an unpopular opinion but I will continue to believe that the whole series is worth it. But can this book be over yet??

I’m afraid to finish this. I mean, it’s the best book I have read in a while but I don’t think I’ll be able to handle the emotions

Ok, ok. I was cranky yesterday. The bad-liar suspects aren’t an irredeemable flaw or anything. Vera Wong is an angel and she makes everything right and good so this book is more cute and warm than annoying

Ok, this is cutesy and light and silly, BUT I’m losing patience for the people who have decided to lie about their involvement with the dead guy but are BAD LIARS 🙄 oh I’m just gonna say I’m a reporter/true crime podcaster and not even think about the fact that someone is bound to ask me the website I report for/name of my podcast. Annoying!! Miscommunication trope never works

This is so easy to listen to! Definitely gotten a few laughs out of it too

Ok, so if the author can write a character that gives you lots of strong feelings, the author is supposed to be good? Is that how it goes? Because I will say that I’m almost hate finishing this book because I so strongly dislike this MC and her stupid actions and decisions. Ok, not true. I want to know what happens but I really dislike the MC and want to hate the author for it 😂

Sadly, this story isn’t keeping me interested like it has for the past several books in the series and when I (eventually hopefully) finish this, it’ll be my last one.
