Elizabeth is reading Murder Island (Doc Savage, #2)
DNF. Although, refreshing to see the male sidekick be the character who exists just to ask the dashing hero questions.

Elizabeth is reading Carrie Soto Is Back
DNF. A Frankenstein's monster plays tennis.

I skipped from part 35 to part 70 and, I assume, missed nothing but tennis and bratty behaviour.

I'm 40 parts into the 185 part audiobook... Will it start to make sense anytime soon or continue to jump all around?

Elizabeth is reading Dopamine Nation: Finding Balance in the Age of Indulgence
Shallow and simple, disappointing. Just read about the actual twelve steps of AA which she essentially rips off and dumbs down.

Elizabeth is reading The British in India: Three Centuries of Ambition and Experience
Troubling in that the main thesis seems to be, "there were good people on both sides." A sort of jumble sale of stories loosely grouped. There were many times where the language continued to be outdated outside of quotation marks.

Elizabeth is reading The Home Edit: A Guide to Organizing and Realizing Your House Goals
Do you love capitalism so much that you desire no respite from consumption, even in your home? Well here's the catalog for you. Everything you own is now referred to as "back stock" and you should fold all 100 of your Hermes scarves into the rainbow - but make sure you throw away all the unsightly packaging first.

Elizabeth is reading Between Ourselves: Letters Between Mothers and Daughters 1750-1982
Did not finish. Perhaps this did not age well, but it reminded me of Chicken Soup for the Soul, although there didn't seem to be a point to the arrangement of the biographies and letters. Very reductive passages with outdated offensive language and many references to women being ripe to suckle made my skin crawl.

Elizabeth is reading Greyfriars Bobby
A frisky wee tale of unending loyalty told in a charming Scottish burr. Highly recommend reading as a cleanse between much harder works.

I refuse to continue to put myself through this any longer. What an absolute mess! Dear reader, do not pick this up, but know that if this could be published, the novel you dream of in your most secret of secret hearts can absolutely be published too.

Elizabeth is reading As You Like It
Read on the flight from Philly to Toronto. Not much love for this, brotherly or otherwise. Rosalind deserves a better plot than this, and I always forget the players speech isn't from Hamlet. I don't think I need read this again.
